Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Today Fax (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit todayfax.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the website.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Comments: if you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and website you enter, the comment itself, your IP address and your browser user agent. These help us detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
  • Emails: if you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply.
  • Newsletter: if we offer a newsletter and you subscribe, we store your email address to send it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: like nearly every website, our hosting server records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
  • Cookies: WordPress may set cookies when you leave a comment (to remember your name and email for next time) and for logged-in administrators. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use information

  • To publish and moderate comments
  • To answer messages and correction requests
  • To protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats
  • To keep the website fast and working properly

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

  • Hosting: the site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server data on our behalf.
  • Gravatar: if avatars are shown with comments, an anonymised string created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture.
  • External links: our articles link to other websites. Once you leave todayfax.com, the privacy policy of that website applies.

Analytics and advertising

At the time of this update, Today Fax does not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If we add services such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense in the future, we will update this policy before doing so, list the services used and explain how you can opt out. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent first.

Embedded content

Some articles may include embedded content such as videos. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website directly, and that website may collect data about you.

How long we keep data

  • Comments and their metadata are kept for as long as the comment is published.
  • Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited time by our host for security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at contact@todayfax.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Today Fax is a general-audience website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
